As a cleric and representative of the Islamic Tarikats of Albania, I feel the concern for what you and me observe in our daily life in Albania. Many people among whom politicians as well, have an unruly, greedy soul, inclined to frauds and eager for tragic events. Such people, out of Gods way, have filled our life full of grief, touching, crimes, sufferings and sorrows, that so often we hear that there are people in need and poor ones, mothers whose children are kidnapped, or parents whose sons are killed, who go so deep in grief that they curse the day they were born, the bad fate keeping them alive, and thus wishing the life of the dead ahead of time. These sinners, rulers of our society, though they are of Albanian origin and blood, are not in the right way of the fight for well-being and prosperity. They have repressed the noble feelings and for them life is a cold logic, because they measure nothing by soul but by tradesmans figures, of loss and profit. People like these are also those false believers or even clad with the religions cloak, which feign to be cleric, but in fact they are deceivers, who under the mask of religion, cheat the mankind, or use religion for carrier and personal needs. For what I say, I cannot agree with some who say that the state is to be blamed for everything, that if we change this or that government the happy spring comes out. I have the fundamental idea that nothing can be achieved without first educating the man. So, it is the man who needs to be cured before the system because BAD MAN TURNS EVEN THE BEST SYSTEM INTO THE WORST ONE. With this I want to say that without educating this part of the society Albanians must not ask and expect from the world, in the present condition we cannot go towards the true happiness and civilisation nest. |
